Nitendo just announced that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 has been delayed to Spring 2023

More specifically, Eiji Aonuma, the Zelda series producer, apologizes in a video to those who have been looking forward to a release this year.

In order to achieve a more fleshed out experience, meaning the player being able to explore not just the ground but also the skies as well as introducing new enemies and mechanics, the development team requires more time.
