Horizon Forbidden West is getting a new DLC named Burning Shores

Horizon Forbidden West is getting a new DLC story, named Burning Shores. This DLC was revealed during Game Awards 2023 and will have Aloy, the protagonist of Horizon Forbidden West, travel to a wildly different Los Angeles than the one we know. More specifically, this Los Angeles will be a “treacherous volcanic archipelago” as stated in the official Playstation Blog. 

The new storyline will take place in a new region south of Tekath Clan Lands and will serve as a continuum to the game’s base story.
