Hades 2 has a reveal trailer

Supergiant Games announced their new game during Game Awards 2022, which is a sequel to a massive hit of theirs, Hades 2. In this game the players will be controlling Melinoë who is the daughter of Persephone and Zeus in Greek mythology. The release date is yet uncleared but the developers have been working on the game since early 2021 and still have a lot left to finish, as they said. Same as Hades, Hades 2 will have an early access
release on PC this time available on both Steam and Epic Games. In the trailer, alongside Melinoë we see a witch, who appears to be none other than Hecate. It appears she plays a major role not only to the plot of the game but to its design as well as Supergiant Games stated:

Central to this ancient and oft-feared and misunderstood practice is Hecate, the secretive goddess of witchcraft and the crossroads,

She plays a significant role in classical mythology surrounding Hades and the Underworld, and has been an influential and deeply compelling figure in witchcraft, myth, and folklore in a variety of cultures for thousands of years… so much so that we felt we needed a whole new game to try and do her justice.

The villain in the story this time is Chronos, a Titan who is also Hades’ father. Chronos managed to escape the Underworld and is now ready to start a conflict with Olympus. Much like the first game, the story will unfold with every “setback and accomplishment.” as the studio said. We don’t know many details about any gameplay changes other than the ones that can be seen from the trailer below. Based on Supergiant however, there will be many new challenges, a new upgrade system, new locations and many other surprises.
