The Witcher Remake is announced
Geralt's first adventure to be shown in a new light.
Publisher CD Projekt RED has officially announced the remake (previously teased with the codename “Canis Majoris”) alongside developer Fool’s Theory as part of the series’s 15th anniversary, with the game currently being in an early development stage, along with being remade from scratch on the UE5.
We're thrilled to reveal that, together with @Fools_Theory, we're working on remaking The Witcher using Unreal Engine 5 (codename: Canis Majoris)!

While CDPR has noted that it will be a while until we see the game hit the shelves as it is still on its early development cycle, we are nonetheless happy here in Gamelizer to hear of the project’s announcement and are looking forward to learn more about it!
